Government : McClintock sworn in to serve in the 91st Assembly

In a statement to Iowa voters Iowa Senator Charlie McClintock thanked voters. He was sworn in to fill the Iowa Senate District 42 seat and began the 91st General Assembly.

"I want to THANK everyone for their support over the last four years! It has been an honor to serve as your House Representative and now your Senate District 42 Senator.

I am excited to get the 91st General Assembly started for the people of Benton and Linn counties and Iowa!

I appreciate your support and assistance thus far and look forward to what we can accomplish together this year.
