Ernst, small business owners emphasize the need to make Trump tax cuts permanent.

During  a  joint hearing  of the  House  Committee on Small Business  and  the  Senate  Committee on Small Business  and Entrepreneurship, Chair Joni Ernst (R-Iowa)  questioned  small business owners, including from Iowa,  about how important it is for Congress to ensure Trump ¢â‚¬â„¢s tax cuts don ¢â‚¬â„¢t expire.

She  spoke  with  Jerry Akers from Palo, Iowa  on the impact of the punitive death tax and how renewing Trump ¢â‚¬â„¢s tax cuts will allow him to pass down his business to his daughters without taking on unnecessary loans.

Akers  echoed  Chair Ernst ¢â‚¬â„¢s  remarks  on how the expiration of Trump ¢â‚¬â„¢s tax cuts would slow the growth of small businesses and harm communities and employees.

Ernst, who has long  advocated  for the eradication of the death tax, detailed how Iowa  families should not have to fear the loss of their livelihoods as they grieve a loved one.
