Government : Benton County Republican Convention Saturday in VINTON; Monthly Meeting Tuesday

The 2026 Benton County Republican Convention will be held this Saturday, March 7th, 2026 at 9 a.m. at Tilford Elementary, 308 E. 13th St., Vinton. Check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. We do not expect the convention will take long-we'll hear from some state-wide candidates/candidate proxies, vote on our county platform, elect delegates to district/state convention (April 25th, Oelwein, June 19th, Clive), and elect members to district-wide committees. Only those who were elected as delegates at precinct caucuses can participate in convention discussion and votes on our agenda items.

Not every delegate nominated to attend the county convention provided complete contact information, so please share this info with anyone whom you know is a delegate.
