This week House Speaker-Elect Kraig Paulsen (R-Hiawatha) announced the standing and budget committee chairs for the eighty-fifth General Assembly. Rep. Dawn Pettengill (R-Mt. Auburn) was chosen as the chair of the House Administration and Rules Review committee.
"Rep. Pettengill is an outspoken leader who has accomplished great things on behalf of Iowa,” said Paulsen.
This is her second term as the Chair of the Administrative Rules Review committee. She was elected in November to her fifth term in the Iowa House.
“I look forward to continuing my efforts to make it easier to be an employer in this state and preserve our small town values,” said Pettengill.
