Thanks for Giving ahead of this Holiday Season
With upcoming holidays and the flu season upon us, LifeServe Blood Center is thanking donors who plan on helping boost the blood supply this November.
Holiday traditions and travel or the flu may keep regular donors from giving blood this month, but the need for the lifesaving liquid does not let up. To ensure hospital patients can live on to celebrate many more holidays, every blood type must be on the shelf at all times.

With October being breast cancer awareness month, it seems a great time to point out that heavy drinking can impact women negatively.

This serves as both a humbling reminder of the toll substance abuse has on our families and communities, as well as a celebration of what accomplishments have already taken place. It’s a month for reflection, a month for action, and ultimately a month for optimism.
