Benton County Public Health Schedules First Sexual Health Screening Clinic
Benton County Public Health, in partnership with Linn County Public Health,
will begin providing free and confidential screening for HIV, hepatitis C, syphilis, gonorrhea, and
chlamydia. The first clinic will be held on Monday, March 28th from 1:00 to 3:00 pm and will
continue on a quarterly schedule. No identification or insurance is needed to take part in this
service.

Blood Drive in Shellsburg April 13
The Shellsburg Lions Club hosted a blood drive on Feb 10 and the turnout was great. Similac PM 60/40 Recall
Abbott is recalling one lot of Similac PM 60/40 (Lot # 27032K80 (can) / Lot # 27032K800 (case)) manufactured in Sturgis, Michigan. This is in addition to lots of Similac, Alimentum, and EleCare powder formula that were recalled on February 17. The FDA’s investigation related to powder infant formula produced in Abbott’s Sturgis, Michigan facility related to Cronobacter and Salmonella infections in infants is ongoing.
