Peer Support Recovery Vinton or PRZ is located at 811 D Ave. in the Access Center and will meet on Wednesdays from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Who we help: Anyone 18 years or older who are in mourning, isolated, depressed, lonely, manic, anxious, angry or anything else.

PRZ is a place for adults living with mental illness. Simply put, this is a fun and safe place to come and socialize with but also gain support from peers. Sometimes we play games, cards, and do fun activities and crafts. We discuss improving both physical and emotional health and self-help activities and other resources available through our community. Mostly we enjoy each other's company and conversation. This a support group for and about YOU!

People will be at varying degrees of recovery and have a variety of challenges, and so we aim to accommodate the specific wants, needs, and goals of those in attendance. Stop on out and see us!

Below is a list of our events:

December 9th: Food Frenzy, learn what is healthy

December 16th: Make it happen, setting goals

December 23rd: Christmas Party

December 30th: Anything Goes! Open Topic and Games!
