Health and Fitness : FREE Welcome to Medicare Seminar

There will be a FREE seminar entitled, "Welcome to Medicare." The event will take place on Saturday, April 29, from 9-11:00 a.m. at the Vinton Family Medical Clinic located at 504 North 9th Ave. in Vinton.

Registration is required by April 20. Call 472-6230, seating is limited. Enter through the clinic entrance. Elevator is to the right. Go to Level 1. As you leave the elevator, go to your right to the Clinic Conference Room, a sign will be on the door. Please feel free to ask the greeter at the door for assistance.

The seminar will be held in the conference room.

The seminar is offered by the State of Iowa's Senior Health Insurance Information Program or SHIIP and Virginia Gay Hospital.

The seminar will cover:

-Medicare Parts A & B Benefits

-Prescription Drug Benefits (Part D)

-Medicare Advantage Plans

-Medicare Supplemental Insurance

-Identify Medicare Fraude, Errors and Abuse
