Health and Fitness : Free Seminar: Welcome to Medicare, April 20, 2024

A free seminar will be held at Virginia Gay Hospital entitled, "Welcome to Medicare." The seminar will be held on Saturday, April 20. 2024 from 9-11:00 a.m. in the conference room. Registration is required by April 1, 2024, by calling 319-472-6230.

Seating is limited. 

This seminar is being offered by the State of Iowa's Senior Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) and Virginia Gay Hospital. 

"Welcome to Medicare" will cover the following topics:

-Medicare Parts A and B Benefits

-Prescription Drug Benefits (Part D)

-Medicare Advantage Plans

-Medicare Supplement Insurance 

-How to Identify Medicare Fraud, Errors and Abuse

Virginia Gay Hospital is located at 502 N. 9th Ave. in Vinton. To locate the Conference Room, enter through the clinic entrance, look for the elevator located to your right. Go to Level 1. Exit the elevator to your right, and the Conference Room will have a sign on the door. Check in with the Greeter at the door.
