A little bit about each:
Audrie Sigman, MHA, LNHA
Administrator of Long-Term Care Services at Virginia Gay Hospital and Clinics. Audrie started her role on August 19, 2025, and is dedicated to ensuring residents are treated with kindness and respect. She recently earned her Master’s in Healthcare Administration and was inspired to pursue healthcare after her infant son’s cancer journey—he is now 24 and healthy. Audrie enjoys spending time with residents and staff, as well as boating, camping, and time with her three children, three granddaughters, and five pets.

Cassandra “Cassie” Patava, RN
Director of Nursing at Virginia Gay Nursing & Rehab. Cassie previously worked in acute care, ER, and ambulatory surgery and now ensures residents receive quality care while supporting staff in infection control, scheduling, policy creation, audits, and more. She loves influencing both patient care and the work environment, and brings strong leadership instincts and genuine care to her role. Cassie is married with three daughters, enjoys photography, karaoke, and home projects, and is passionate about resident rights, employee satisfaction, and mental health awareness.
Cassandra Patava – DON – Virginia Gay Nursing & Rehab – 3 Years of Service
Ivy Huber, RN, BSN, CWOCN
Assistant Director of Nursing at Virginia Gay Nursing & Rehab and a Certified Wound Care Specialist in our outpatient clinics. Ivy has a total of eight years of service at VGH and is passionate about helping residents live happy, healthy lives while providing individualized wound care. She enjoys tailoring care plans to each patient’s needs and recently completed coursework toward Foot Care Certification. Outside of work, Ivy loves Hawkeye football, crafts, sewing, quilting, painting, and tending to her many plants.
