These meetings are an excellent opportunity for ag input providers to meet with Extension specialists to review current research, discuss new products, and learn of new recommendations.

4th Street Diner News

  The 4th Street Diner meal on Sunday, November 4th, Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes/Gravy, Broccoli/Cheese Sauce, Mixed Green Salad, Peach Crisp, WW Bread, Milk.   On Monday, September 24th, the activity of the day was a Pepper Card Party.  There were three tables of players.  Bill Milne won 1st place with 293 points.

Two Benton County men among 33 in entrepreneuarship contest

  Two Benton County entrepreneurs are competing for votes and ultimately $15,000 in the Creative Corridor Dream Big business idea contest going on now. This contest is heating up with 33 early stage entrepreneurs competing from around the greater Iowa City/Cedar Rapids region. The five ideas with the most votes at midnight on November 9 will be invited to pitch their idea live to a panel of successful entrepreneurs on November 15.
