News : Post Prom '14 fund-raising begins; dress sale, concession stand planned

Two events in the near future will help raise money for the 2014 Post Prom event. Dress sale; donations sought Donations are now being accepted for the Homecoming dress sale at Vinton-Shellsburg High School. Those wishing to donate dresses, shoes or jewelry are asked to leave their items at Cameron's by Saturday, August 3. The sale will take place from 5-6 p.m. on both Monday, August 12 and Tuesday, August 13 before the 1:1 Initiative Rollout Meetings at the high school. Remaining items will be for sale at Cameron's during Boom-fest on Saturday, August 24, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lemonade Shake-Up stand

Stop by our booth for a Lemonade Shake-up and some popcorn and help support the 2014 Post Prom event during the Vinton Cruise this Saturday, July 20. We will also be serving baked goods and water from 2:00-6:00 downtown on the courthouse lawn before the cruise begins at 7:00.
