News : Benton County Fair Queen competing at State Fair this week

Willow Huber is competing this week in the Iowa State Fair Queen event. The new Queen will be crowned on Saturday evening. Willow was named the Benton County Fair Queen last month. Out of the seven girls participating this year besides our County Queen Willow Huber, several of them have earned other honors. Rylie Pflughaupt is the Iowa Jersey Princess, Aspen Auld is the Llama Association Queen. Natalie Hanson who was our 2012 County Princess ran for the National Cattle Congress Queen and she holds the Crown for the 2013 National Cattle Congress Queen so she will be at the Iowa State Fair participating in the Queen Contest there. I think Benton County should be very proud of the young ladies for their achievements.
