News : New adoptable cat building at the Animal Shelter

The new adoptable cat building is almost complete. We want to thank Cory and Leslie McKibben for donating materials and many hours of labor to build it. Thanks also to John Casey for labor on the inside. We thank the Albert family for the air conditioner and fixtures that we purchased from memorial donations for Lyle F. Albert. A grant from The Belisle Fund of the St. Croix Valley Foundation and also insurance money contributed to the purchase of materials. This new building will free up much needed space in the current shelter building to make room for a bigger cat quarantine area, space for puppies/smaller dogs, and also office space. The community support has been overwhelming as we continue to improve the conditions at the animal shelter to make the facilities more functional.
