For the third year in a row, the Iowa High School Music Association has chosen Vinton-Shellsburg High School choir member Jacob Bunge for the Iowa All-State Chorus.

Jacob will spend the weekend of Nov. 21-23 in Ames, rehearsing performing with the best high school singers from across the state.

In addition to Jabob's honor, two other VSHS performers received special recognition. Lexi Hicok made 2nd alternate in the All-State band; Caleb Bendull made 1st alternate in the band.

HUGE Congrats to Jacob on his third year to the All-State Festival. He and Nick Gardner may be the only students in VSHS history to make All-State ensembles three years in a row.
