News : Update - Please read if you have a Veteran in your Family!

Thank you for all of the updates in names, ranks, branch and years of service for our Veterans!

If you have a Veteran in the family, be sure to check out our online tribute on our Facebook page, it's under the "Notes" tab or here's the link!

I have also added a page to keep their pictures on as well, it's in our photos under "Benton County Veterans"

If you are like me, you are asking, WHERE????

1. Log in to Facebook.

2. Find the Vinton Today page.

3. Click "Like" on the right, under our name if you haven't already :)

4. See the little blue Twitter bird? There is an arrow to the RIGHT of that that points down, click on that.

5, Tada! There it is under the "Notes" section, Our Benton County Veterans

Take a look at the list, I KNOW it's not complete, it never has been, but hopefully some day we can have a nice, pretty completed list.

It would be awesome to have a complete photo album of our veterans as well, so feel free to send in the pictures of our vets, if you have them in uniform, that would be awesome!

If there is anyone out there that has the Veteran's information from as far back as the Civil War, feel free to send that in, just in case there aren't any relatives left in the area!

We have a special place in our hearts for our Veterans, and we continue to look for new ways to honor them!

So take a few minutes, look at the list and photos, and let me know of any corrections, additions and I'll be more than happy to take care of it!
