Activity around Vinton at the Christmas season, never stops.

A couple of Saturdays ago, a group of merry elves gathered, as they have the past few years to have some fun and share some cheer. "We make goodies and share with each other. We all take a tray home and then we go out and deliver goodies to the elderly or those in need."

The group meets annually and have fun working together to make Christmas a fun part of the year.

Each lady brings a variety of ingredients to create a giant snack mix. Bugels, crackers of all sorts, nuts, ranch mixes and oil, and anything else you can imagine.

They usually start around noon and start making their deliveries in late afternoon or evening.

Each year, more gals join in the fun. They think it's been about 4 years that they've done this, but only the 2nd year at the fire station. But who's counting when you're having fun?
