News : Winter weather alert: Special Olympics basketball event postponed to Feb. 8

Due to upcoming severe weather, the Special Olympics Basketball Skills Competition to be held on Saturday morning has been postponed and rescheduled for Saturday, February 8, same location, same time as originally intended. The safety of our athletes is the most important concern. We will NOT hold practice on Saturday for the same reason. Our next practice will be held on Thursday, Feb. 6 at the Braille School gym. Please pass the word, and stay safe and warm this weekend.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Benton County, predicting 3-5 inches of snow between Friday evening and Saturday afternoon, followed by winds up to 25 mph.
