News : City of Vinton faces email system failure; citizens asked to call instead

The City's e-mail service, IX Communications, had a major hardware failure over the weekend and we have been without e-mail all week.

"I am sending this from my personal webmail," wrote interim city coordinator Jeff Horne. "I just want to get the word out that we are not ignoring anyone and to please call City Hall for the time being. I will let everyone know when our e-mail service is restored."
