On Tuesday, March 18, Virginia Gay Hospital and Clinic leaders will celebrate the beginning of a new program designed to help encourage reading.
The hospital has been working with the "Reach out and Read' program for the past few months, buying books for children of all ages.
The VGH Foundation, along with local donors have made this program possible.
"e’re very excited about this program and the opportunity for us to partner with the schools, libraries, and parents in Benton County to help with the goal of sending every child to school ready to read and be as successful as possible," said VGH Foundation Director Mike Timmermans.
