Now in its 101st year, Bethlehem Lutheran Church is continuing to present monthly gifts for $101 dollars to deserving community organizations.

On March 30, 2014, our congregation was much honored to present the third monthly gift to the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight organization. Sadly, there are fewer and fewer of our World War II and Korean veterans alive today and few have had the opportunity to see the World War II and Korean War Memorials. The purpose of this organization is to honor America’s veterans for all of their sacrifices. Eastern Iowa Honor Flight relies on donations that enable them to fly World War II and Korean War veterans to Washington D.C. to visit their memorials.
