News : Party in the Park Parade a success; escapes rain

Rockin' the 80s, in a different sense of the word; PIP parade participants rode on Saturday.

Children had a chance to pet a horse at the end of the parade on Saturday.

Despite the threat of rain, the Party in the Park parade participants were able to walk or ride the entire route. The parade ended about an hour before the storm began.

With the theme, "80s Rewind," the parade included many decorations and costumes reminding viewers of that decade.
