Less than 6 days from today, the 3rd Annual Cedar River Clean Up will be history. While some volunteers have signed up to help with the meal, and on the water, more are still needed.
The RATS need volunteers to help offload debris from boats to trucks at Minne Estema, (approx 10:30)and again at Patten’s Cedar River Access, where lunch will be served by Martha Long and her culinary crew.
The third and final stop will be at the Dudgeon Boat Ramp in Vinton. For more information on this, call 560-9071 or 558-7476.
Volunteers are also needed to shuttle vehicles of the Kayak/Canoe volunteers from Minne Estema to the final destination @ the Dudgeon Ramp. Gloves and bags, and of course lunch, will be provided to all volunteers and teeshirts are available to the first 75 volunteers!
This project began as an idea among local Cedar enthusiasts and has the continued support from: Benton County Conservation, Benton County Supervisors, local merchants, local citizens and many River enthusiasts from neighboring towns and counties.
If you would like to help with this worthwhile environmental project in any capacity, it is always appreciated! Call today to get signed up!!
