Your daughter, Allison has a challenge for you – and the rest of the staff at the Vinton Lutheran Home.

Allison is an employee at Windsor Manor, where several employees, with the help of residents, participated in the Ice Bucket Challenge fund-raiser. Danelle Wrobeski’s daughter, Brooke, issued the challenge to her mom and the rest of the WM staff. About 11 staff members sat side-by-side in the plaza, as residents and volunteers did the honors of dumping ice water on their heads.

Allison read a challenge to her mom, inviting the Lutheran Home staff members to also participate.

In the past several months, the Internet-based Ice Bucket Challenge has raised millions of dollars for the ALS Association, which raises funds to fight and search for a cure for the illness commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.
