An Educational Gardening and Landscaping Tour sponsored by the Federated Garden Clubs of Iowa Landscape Design and Gardening Study Consultants Councils is being held as a Bi-Refresher for those Landscape Design and Gardening Study Consultants who need to refresh their Credentials. It will be Friday, September 17, from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. The tour is open to the public, garden club and at-large members and consultants.
The Educational Tour will include the Ann Smeltzer Historic Property, a walking tour of the Oak Hill National Historic Register District, the Blanden Art Museum, lunch and evaluation of a private garden and landscape, new landscaping at Iowa Central Community College, and new landscaping at Friendship Haven Retirement Complex.
Registration fee is $25.00, including lunch, with a $5.00 late fee after September 8. Checks should be made out to LD/GS Consultants Council, and mailed to Carolyn Magnani, 6766 Ceres Circle, Johnston, IA 50131-1656. Please include your e-mail address.
