News : Megan Hill to join VS as FFA assistant

Megan Hill will serve as the FFA assistant at VSHS.

Starting on September 1, the Vinton-Shellsburg FFA Chapter will be gaining a new addition to the team! Ms. Megan Hill, becoming more involved with the agriculture side of life than she probably expected, will be the chapter’s new FFA Assistant!

Ms. Hill, being a new member of the community, applied for the position because of her passion for leadership building and group dynamics. She started working for Americorp as a team leader and now hopes to bring out the potential of leadership in the members of the Vinton-Shellsburg FFA Chapter.

Ms. Hill was introduced at the August meeting and was very impressed with the meeting and how it went- seeing that the chapter members do have the potential of leadership and she is excited to help them reach it! And with a new assistant on the way, the members of the Vinton-Shellsburg FFA Chapter are incredibly excited to start a new chapter in their lives!

A little more about Ms. Hill is that she loves puns, playing sports and games, has a degree in math and a second in education, and when she moved to Vinton she felt incredibly welcomed! Hopefully she has a great year at the school with the members and leading them towards success!
