The Virginia Gay Hospital Tree Walk, in addition to helping begin the holiday season and helping dozens of local families decorate for the Christmas season, earned more than $10,000 for the Virginia Gay Hospital Foundation. The final total was $10,025.
"We would like to take the time to personally thank all those who participated in the annual Tree of Lights Tree Walk. Your generosity and support has surpassed our wildest dreams of what this Tree Walk has become," said Respiratory Care Coordinator Kim Swore and Director of Human Resources Kim Frank in a message to hospital supporters. "Our goal was a lofty one this year and thanks to each individual and all the business’ that donated we were able to achieve it. The money raised will help the Foundation continue to be able to provide the “wish list” of our hospital departments. With our wishes fulfilled we will be able to continue to provide excellent care at Virgina Gay Hospital!"
