News : Vinton crews to finish latest round of tree work today

City crews continue removing trees damaged by the 2011 wind storm.

Although the so-far gentle winter has meant less time for city crews in the city snow-removal vehicles, they continue to clean up the damage from the vicious 2011 wind storm. Crews worked along C Avenue on Tuesday and are removing parts of damaged trees from 10th and 13th Street today. They plan to finish this part of the ongonig clean-up project by the end of today.
