News : Drone camera continues capturing Vinton, from above

Brendan Turner continues to experiment with his drone and its camera; here's the March 30 sunset.

Those participating in the Easter Egg Hunt at Rodgers Park this weekend may hear the buzzing of a small remote-controlled aircraft overhead. Those who have seen this machine, and the result of its efforts, now know that the drone belongs to Vinton resident Brendan Turner, who has begun offering drone photography services through his business which he calls Aerial Advantage.

The four-rotor machine is called the DJI Phantom quadcopter with a Gopro Hero 3 camera.

Turner says the photo of the sunset he took on Monday night over Vinton is his favorite so far.
