Camping season has begun. All of the Benton County Conservation Campgrounds will be open this weekend for camping with the exception of Benton City. Some campgrounds will not have shower facilities open yet. So get out there this weekend and enjoy the great outdoors.

Hannen Lake Park is a great stop for modern campers who wish to do some lake fishing and have a beach to enjoy with the kids. There are pavilions, modern restrooms / showers and a campground host and park ranger are located on site. ($15 for electric & $10 for non-electric) (The Cabin at Hannen Lake can be reserved after the 1st of the year, and goes for $50/night)

Hoefle-Dulin Park allows again for camping on the Cedar River, but is slightly more remote. Electric is available for campers as well as a boat ramp for fisherman. ($15 for electric & $10 for non-electric)

Rodgers Park is another modern campground for patrons who wish to do some lake fishing and have a beach to enjoy with the kids. There are pavilions, modern restrooms / showers and a campground host is located on site. ($15 for electric & $10 for non-electric)

Wildcat Bluff Park is a river park that is along the cedar river. Electric is available for campers as well as a boat ramp for fisherman. There is also a great 18 hole disc golf course available on-site. ($15 for electric & $10 for non-electric)
