News : Vikings, Vikettes to compete in Drake Relays

These runners will compete in the Drake Relays on Friday.

Two Vinton-Shellsburg High School relay teams and one individual have qualified for the Drake Relays.

In the boys events, four Vikings will compete.

Jordan Womochil, Joel Barnes, Cole Garwood and Nick Hyland earned a spot in the 4 x 100 event. Barnes also qualified for the 100M dash.

For the Vikettes, the 4 x 100 relay team consisting of Sydney Robertson, Dawne Schminke, LaDorshae Mull, Hannah Kalous also qualified for the Drake Relays.
