Brian Parr of Vinton is one of 60 Iowa artists whose work was selected for a new exhibit at the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art. Brian's oil painting on canvass called "Morning Glow" will be among dozens featured in the "Midwest Summer: Light & Warmth" display. Brian's painting was one of 60 pieces to be displayed out of over 250 entries. Brian and his family attended the Artist's
Reception on Friday, June 5. The Exhibition runs through Sept. 13.

CLJune 9, 2015, 8:34 amSeveral years ago Brian made us a beautiful bookcase/desk. His sketch of the project is a work of art that we keep to this day. Of course, the woodworking is fabulous and solid as a rock. Congratulations to Brian!
