News : Library Board needs two new members; Vinton women encourage to join

The Vinton Public Library Board of Trustees has two vacancies that need to be filled. The Board meets at 5:00 p.m., the second Wednesday of the month. Meetings are rarely longer than 45 minutes. Board members advocate for the library in the community; plan for the future of the library; and set library policies. We need two women from the city of Vinton to fill these vacancies so a gender balanced board is maintained. Please talk to Virginia (319-472-4208) or any board member if you are interested.
