News : Party in Pink: Runners raise $10,000 for Gifts of Hope

Faye Wade was one of many who dressed up for the Party in Pink 5K on Friday.

Vinton-Shellsburg cross country runners Nolan Sagan and Lily Horst were the top male and female runners in the 3rd Annual Party in Pink on Friday.

The annual event, organized by Survivors of Benton County, raised $10,000 for the Virginia Gay Hospital Foundation's Gifts of Hope fund, which provides money for women's health services to those who cannot afford them.

Approximately 500 people signed up for the annual event.
