The Lil Racers Club held another one of its box car races Sunday at the Benton County Speedway.

On Friday, July 31st at the home of Ron and Mia Phelps, and also on what would have been ZoeyTuttle's 13th birthday, her family gathered to celebrate her life. In the past few weeks, many area racing fans have been decorating cars. The Tuttles and their friends created racers honoring Zoey and the other members of the Urbana Five: Zoey's brothers Hunter Tuttle and Triston Randall, and Quentin Ary and Nikki Jacobsen.

One car included a photo of Zoey running in last year's cardboard box races. She loved that event, and also, along with her siblings, hanging out at the track, watching races and helping in the pits.

On Sunday, before the feature races began, several children and race car drivers took turns wearing the cars and running to see who could cross the finish line first.

The Lil Racers Club sponsors a variety of events at Iowa race tracks.
