    Friends have begun a fund-raising campaign to help the family of Rick Ricklefs, who died Sept. 20.

Even though it's been more than seven years since the H & H Radiator Shop in Cedar Rapids was flooded out, forcing Rick Ricklefs to change jobs and become a mason, he was still known to many as Radiator Rick until his death from fast-spreading cancer yesterday (Sept. 20).

Friends of Rick and his wife Kay have set up a Go Fund Me to help cover the families medical expenses. 

Randy Hanson described Radiator Rick with these words:

"Not only was he a hard worker, but he was a very social and loving person, alwaying helping others, and not asking for anything in return."
