News : Homecoming: King, Queen to be crowned at pep rally tonight

The 2015 VSHS Homecoming King and Queen will be chosen from among these seniors.

Vinton-Shellsburg High School leaders will be watching the sky and weather reports today as they prepare for the annual Homecoming parade and pep rally, which will include the crowing of the 2015 Homecoming King and Queen.

There's a chance of rain in the forecast. A heavy rain could cause school officials to move the pep rally from the football field into the VSHS gym.

The five Homecoming King and Queen finalists were annouced; the new King and Queen will be crowned during the Thursday evening pep rally. The Queen candidates are: Lily Horst, Daisy Johnson, Emily Reisch, Anna Sagan and Bristi Gerber. King candidates include: Kyle Jorgenson, Tanner Holten, Quinton Guenther, Caleb Kruckenberg and Tanner Bird.
