News : Work on new John\'s Qwik Stop building to begin this week

Work has begun on the site of the new John's Qwik Stop building, just behind the current one.

This house is being demolished; the site will be used for JQS underground storage tanks.

The house on the corner just north of John's Qwik Stop on C Avenue in Vinton was demolished today to make room for the new underground storage tanks. Just east of the current store, the ground has been leveled, prepared for pouring of concrete footings later this week.

Manager Melissa Mosher said the concrete work is scheduled to begin on Thursday.
