The Vinton Parks & Recreation Department is excited to announce that we now offer families the ability to register for activities and special events from the comfort of their own homes! We have partnered with Active Network, one of the national leaders in software specifically tailored to park and recreation departments, to bring the convenience of online registration to our users. In about a month, users will also be able to reserve any of our facilities and shelters online as well! We realize that some are more tech-savvy than others so we have made the account creation process super easy for everybody! To get started, please visit our vprdzone.com website and click on the “Click Here To Register” button. You will be taken to a page that contains the registration website link along with some handy how-to-guides on creating your account, logging in and registering for activities or special events. Best of all, there are no silly “online” or “convenience” fees the user will have to pay when purchasing from the site...our advertised price is the price you pay! We are currently running a promotion through March 31st to encourage everybody to visit our site and get registered for an account. Every account created (one per family) by that date will be entered into a drawing where we will be giving away several family 2016 summer pool passes, vouchers for private swimming pool and skate center parties, credit on your account for future purchases, skating passes and more!
