Flourishing Families of Benton and Iowa Counties, a local Community Partnership for Protecting Children site, is pleased to announce that funding to support programs and activities to benefit children and families living in Benton or Iowa Counties is now available.
The purpose of these funds is to support local community initiatives that meet the criteria established by the Flourishing Families of Benton and Iowa Counties. As a local Community Partnership for Protecting Children site, our mission is to prevent child abuse by increasing community connections and supports for families. To be eligible for this funding, applying entities must provide a clear description of the purpose of these funds and show how this funding will work to support children and families living in Benton and/or Iowa Counties. Examples of eligible activities includes but is not limited to: programs or events that work to build stronger families; programs or events for Dads; programs that support children such as: food distribution, school supplies, books, or equipment to participate in school or community events/activities; programs or events that promote parent engagement, or programs that support community education.
The application is due to FFBIC by February 15th. There is a funding request cap of $500 per entity and the funds will need to be spent by June 30th. All applications will be reviewed in February and announcements made by March 1st.
