When you visit area stores, including Fareway and Theisen's, you may see members of area Girl Scout troops sitting behind tables full of boxed cookies.
Troop 5478 Daisies in Vinton are among the girls selling cookies as fund-raisers for their troop. Mallery Staggs and Elizabeth Hamer were among the girls selling cookies last weekend at Fareway. The girls says their troop goal is 1,400 boxes this year.
