News : Saturday crash claims life of Garrison woman

Zoe Goodenbour, 24, of Garrison, was killed in a one-vehicle accident Saturday. The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened west of 18th Avenue on 65th Street in rural Keystone shortly after midnight on Saturday, Nov. 12, when the driver lost control and her minivan rolled onto its top in the ditch. Relatives have started a Go Fund Me page to help her family with funeral expenses. Donations are also being accepted at the Cooling Dance Center, where Zoe's daughter had recently begun taking classes. Zoe leaves behind her husband, Joe, and three children. A 2010 Vinton-Shellsburg graduate, Zoe was employed at the Cedar Valley Ranch. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the Geilenfeld Funeral Home in Oelwein. Interment will be held privately in Woodlawn Cemetery at Oelwein. A memorial fund has been established. See her obituary HERE.
