News : Animal Shelter advice as well as EMERGENCY NEED

Volunteers recently put up tarps at the Vinton/Benton Co. Animal Shelter to protect the shelter dogs during winter weather.

If your dog lives outside, please be sure to prepare their living area for winter before it arrives.

Emergency NEED!!

The Vinton/Benton Co. Animal Shelter is in need of nutritious puppy food (Diamond, Science, Diet, Iam's, etc.) and canned food for two surviving puppies and their underweight mother. Please leave items at the door of the shelter or you can email dfriendsoftheshelter@yahoo.com to make other arrangements. They are not available for adoption as this is an ongoing investigation but we need to get them healthy, now. Thank you!
