News : Benton County's Angel Tree Seeking Community Help

This year's Angel Tree, currently has 235 children signed up to receive gifts this Christmas. Rick and Yvonne Zimpfer have agreed to loan the use of their building, the former McClure office next to the Ron-Da-Voo, to be used for the program. If you are interested in helping with this project, you can get a tag with needed clothing ideas at either US Bank or Farmers Savings and Trust. Monday, December 10th will be the last day to sign up for assistance. If your family needs a helping hand this year, feel free to contact Lanette Parker at 319-521-1496, or you can reach her at First Christian Church at 472-2153, or you can send her a private message via Facebook Messenger. Any new toys and clothes are accepted. Cash donations are also accepted to help buy gifts. So remember to stop by one of the banks and pick up a few gift tags!
