Director Jody Biershenk led the Vinton-Shellsburg Middle School 6th, 7th, and 8th grade bands, as well as the VSMS Jazz Band, in their annual winter concert Thursday evening.
The bands played a variety of popular, patriotic and holiday-themed music as parents, relatives and friends filled the VSHS auditorium to hear the concert.
