Americorp NCCC and FEMA Corps graduated the class of XXIVC with 905 of the class finishing and over 100,000 hours in service.
Rob Levis spoke to the graduating class expressing his appreciation for their service.
Each year about 1,500 graduate across the country. Each graduate performs a minimum of 1,700 hours of service.
Congresswoman Abby Finkenauer also sent a greeting to the class thanking and congratulating the class on serving others.
Other speakers expressed the appreciation that the communities that are affected by natural disasters will feel and remember when the groups of volunteers show up to assist in various capacities throughout their time at Americorp.
Nearly 100 left the program this spring to go home to their communities many of them having left home for the first time last fall.
