Oak Grove Church helps to make Shellburg a prettier place, lending a hand in demolition clean up

Joining forces with area churches, Oak Grove Church was out in the communities of Vinton and Shellsburg on Friday.

A group was built a wheelchair ramp at a trailer in Shellsburg yesterday and another group was finishing yard work as well as painting on Friday.

Another group was building a deck in Vinton while yet another was cleaning up a demolition project in Shellsburg.

Pastor Matt Magee of Oak Grove said that it was a chance for the church to help others.

Projects for both churches will continue into tomorrow.
