News : Vinton's Sesquincentennial Committee in search of former Queens and Court Member

The Vinton Sesquicentennial Committee is looking for any former Sweet Corn Days Queens or members of the Court.  Starting in 1929, Vinton crowned a Sweet Corn Days Queen and Court but the contest has not been held since 1959.  We are hoping to bring back a bit of Vinton's history by crowning a queen and court for Vinton's Sesquicentennial celebration to be held August 17-24, 2019.
