News Vinton Woman Charged with Theft

An area Vinton woman has been accused of stealing more than $20,000 while she worked at the Nordstrom center in Cedar Rapids.

The 48-year-old Rhonda Kies has been charged with theft and the preliminary hearing is scheduled for November 15th.

Kies was spotted on security cameras stealing a bracelet. In a criminal complaint Kies later told the investigators that she'd stolen items more than once over the past couple of years.
