Dennis Bramow lends a hand on Saturday helping to hang the greenery for the Christmas Season

The Christmas Season arrived in downtown Vinton on Saturday morning via local volunteers

On Saturday morning, area students and several adults began decking the halls. Duane Fisher delivered the greenery to Vinton where orders were sorted behind the high school in preparation for decorating the downtown.

Greenery was hung across the downtown area, at area banks and in other areas setting the scene for Sunday's Holiday Open House celebration and the upcoming Christmas season. 

Several members of the FFA from the Vinton Shellsburg School District delivered and hung the greenery and wreaths bringing a festive feeling to town.
